About the Event
While the previous year’s conference focused exclusively on ESG, this edition expanded the scope to a broader range of topics centered on the competitiveness of EU and US legal systems. The theme proved to be exceptionally timely and engaging, particularly in light of the recently published EU competitiveness document The EU Compass.
Under the theme, “Safeguards or Barriers? EU & US Perspectives on Regulation,” participants engaged in discussions on key regulatory issues, including capital markets, international trade, sustainability, and digital transformation. Recent shifts in government on both sides of the Atlantic further heightened the relevance of these topics and shaped conversations on evolving regulatory approaches.
